HIROSHIMA PREFECTURAL MIYOSHI FUDOKI NO OKA PARK

The Miyoshi Basin District has an ancient history and many precious relics from the past have been preserved in the 3,000 ancient burial mounds(KOFUN)in this area ,one third of all in Hiroshima prefecture. Miyoshi is know as one of the most famous places in the Chugoku area of where one can see kofun. Among the most well-known national historical sites are the Jorakuji and the Nanatsuzuka areas which are typical of the kofun of this region.
This hill and the surrounding park area consisting of approxima-tely 30 hectares contain various facilities that are open to the public.

Farming tools for rice growing used in the Miyoshi area are exhibited separately by season: spring ,summer,fall and winter.
